Helpful Hints

Make sure your child's face is clean before makeup can be applied.
The hair should be rolled one hour prior to the shoot. It should be
rolled with Redken Hot-Sets. The hair needs to be rolled tight and
under. It is best if you do not use clips in the front of the hair.
We prefer hot rollers (not sponge rollers or Hot Sticks).

Bring as many hair accessories (ribbons, flowers, scarves, clips,
barretts, etc.) as you like. It is always nice to have a good variety to
choose from when trying to put together the perfect look. Also bring
hats, scarfs, etc. that coordinate with your outfits. If your child wears
hair extensions it is a good idea to bring her wearing them.

Backgrounds: To make your shoot original, we suggest that you go to fabric store and get 3 yards of fabric that
matches your attire to be photographed. We do have some backgrounds, but to keep your photogenic different
than the rest it is great to bring your very own special fabric, if at all possible. Make sure you choose a good time
of day for your shoot. For example, if your child is a morning person you would want to try and shoot before lunch
time. It is important that your child eat prior to the shoot. If you bring something to drink make sure you have a straw.
It is also a great idea to bring snacks for your child, as some shoots can be delayed a little.
